Classroom Expectations…

 

Be Respectful to yourself and others.

Be prepared with the materials you need for my class everyday.

Be on time, when the bell rings you should be in your seat ready to learn.

Be involved in your learning. Don't be afraid to ask questions or ask for help when needed. 

 

I expect all work to be turn in on time.  Students who turn in an assignment late will receive partial credit. 

 

Due dates are important- they will be posted on the class calendar.  

 

If you are absent, make arrangements with Miss Lopez to make up missing work.

 

I expect every assignment to be your BEST EFFORT. 

 

The classroom routine requires students to put their cell phones, iPods, headphones, etc. away, and review the day’s objectives/activities.

 

Water bottles are permitted; chewing gum is not.

 

Always have a book (either fiction or nonfiction, e-reader or old school) with you every day!   If you need suggestions for a good read check my links page.   We begin each class with SSR.

 

Check your grades on HAC- if you have any questions, email me or come and see me after school.
